Laval man arrested for luring teen

A 62-year-old Laval man has been arraigned on charges of possessing and producing child pornography and child luring.

Ammar Medfai was arrested by police in La Tuque, after a teenager there complained to police, charging that the man manipulated her into taking sexually explicit photos of herself on the web.

Investigators seized a computer and computer material at Medfai's home during a raid last month. Medfai was on vacation abroad at the time; he was arrested upon his return.

He's now free on a number of conditions.

I just don't get it and it happens all the time. Didn't this girl's parents ever tell her about self esteem and the difference between right and wrong? How do you get manipulated into sexually explicit scenes on the web? What sites does she go on? That being said, why is this predator out on bail? I'm sure he's done this before and he'll do it again.

@ric Don't be so quick to judge, teens get all kinds of ideas in their heads, regardless of parenting. But, even they are not to be blamed for that, there is a reason why adulthood starts at 18 years old and not sooner. Below 18, they are kids and kids can be manipulated by adults. The adult in this story disgusts me though.
