Bombardier lands train contract down under

Montreal-based Bombardier and its partners have landed a $4.1 billion U.S. contract to supply rail equipment to Australia.

The state of Queensland is buying 75 electric passenger trains for the region around Brisbane and will also require a new depot and maintenance for 30 years.

Bombardier's share of the deal is worth $2.7 billion U.S.
