Police executed a search warrant at the home of Quebec boxer Jean Pascal last evening, in connection with a sexual assault complaint.
The Therese-de-Blainville force is not saying what - if any - evidence was seized.
Police spokesman Roger Monette says the complaint was filed by a 25 year old woman who attended a party at the boxer's home in Lorraine Saturday night. She went to police and asked for medical attention afterward. She was treated at the hospital in St. Jerome.
The force will not say whether it is Pascal or one of his party guests who is the focus of the complaint.
Monette does say, however, that while the boxer went out of town yesterday, he has since been in touch with the force and will meet with investigators later this week.
A week ago, Pascal won a two-million dollar purse in a match against Lucian Bute
