With the winter Olympics set to begin in just two days in Sochi, Russia, protesters picketed outside McDonald's restaurants worldwide denouncing Russian anti-gay legislation.

Here in Montreal, a few dozen protestors organized a rally outside the McDonald's at Ste. Catherine and Mackay.

McDonald's is one of the main sponsors of the Olympics, along with Coca-Cola and Proctor and Gamble.

Yet more Westerners who believe that they have the moral high ground and think the West have the right to impose it's values on other societies.

Besides, as a Christian I don't want immorality promoted to my children so thank God there is a country that respects my right to a moralistic society based on Christian values.

Is this stupidity going to change anything? Reality check--- Picketing a McDonalds will not change Russia.
