Woman who died at Fabre metro station died of severe brain trauma

Naima Rharouity died of severe brain trauma.

The coroner's office says the woman who died at the Fabre metro station last week died of severe brain trauma.

CTV news says the preliminary findings don't shed any light on how she suffered the injury, only saying it was an accident.

Initially, police indicated the 48 year old mother of two may have been strangled to death when an article of her clothing became caught in the escalator.

An official report is expected in the coming months.
