More victims of Railroad Rapist?

Police north of Montreal wonder whether a man who admitted to nine sexual assaults over 15 years may have victimized other women.

36-year old Patrick Desjardins became known as the Railroad Rapist because many of his attacks occurred near the train tracks in St. Jerome. There were also attacks in Blainville and Terrebonne.

However, investigators point to unsolved cases in Blainville as well as Mirabel and Two Mountains and, in addition, suspect there may be other attacks which went unreported.

Desjardins usually wore a mask and jumped his victims from behind near train tracks or on walking trails in wooded areas. The victims ranged in age from 10 to 46.

Desjardins is now undergoing a psycho-sexual evaluation and will be back in court in April. The Crown may seek to have him declared a dangerous offender.

Anyone with information about sexual assaults over the past 15 years is asked to call Sergeant-Detective Stephane Goyette at 450-432-3000, extension 2279.

Anybody think this trash can be rehabilitated? Imagine what those innocent girls went through. May he rot in hell.
