Man shot outside Cote-des-Neiges shopping mall

A man was seriously wounded after a shooting near the Wilderton shopping mall in Cote-des-Neiges.

Police say the shooting happened in the parking lot of the mall just before 11 this morning. The shooting victim, a 34-year-old man, ran inside for help.

He was conscious when he was rushed to a nearby hospital. He was shot at least once in the upper body.

For the moment, police have no hints as to who may have pulled the trigger, or why.
