UPDATED: Roof worker falls to death in St. Laurent

A 37-year-old man is dead after a work accident at the Structube warehouse in the St. Laurent borough.

Urgences Santé say the man was working on the roof of the building located inbetween the Trans-Canada and Côte-de-Liesse when he fell to his death.

The man along with a dozen other workers from Acier Bata were on the site. The man was installing steel beams when he fell.

The CSST says the call came in at 11 o'clock in the morning from workers at the building at 341 Isabey.

The CSST is investigating the circumstances of the accident. The work site has been shut down for the day.
