Stephen Harper to meet with "two amigos" in Mexico

Prime Minister Harper travels to Mexico City tomorrow for a meeting of the so-called Three Amigos.

Officials say Harper will not announce an end to Canada's contentious travel visa on Mexico -- a move designed to curb bogus asylum claims.

Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto's Canadian ambassador has publicly expressed his country's anger about the restrictions in recent months.

Harper, meanwhile, can expect the cold shoulder from U-S President Obama on the long-stalled American decision on whether to approve the Keystone X-L pipeline.

Obama's unwavering message, according to White House officials is that U-S officials will let Canada know when they've made up their minds.

Ahead of Obama's arrival, Pena Nieto will host Harper for a separate bilateral visit that begins tomorrow.

Harper is expected to travel to the Mexican Bombardier facility before Wednesday's Three Amigos summit.
