Company behind Candy Crush game plotting its stock market debut

The creators of the ridiculously popular Candy Crush Saga smartphone game are going public.

King Digital Entertainment PLC filed regulatory documents this week suggesting it was planning to list its shares on the New York Stock Exchange — filing for an IPO of up to $500 million dollars.

All of that money people spent buying extra levels and super sprinkles and such have led a $579-million dollar profit for the company last year.

Candy Crush is their biggest cash cow. King Digital has also produced the popular games Pet Rescue, Farm Heroes, and Bubble Witch Saga.
