A Canada-wide arrest warrant has been issued for a man wanted in the murder of a Montreal woman.

Montreal police say Philippe Steele-Morin is being sought on charges of second-degree murder in the slaying of Tricia Boisvert.

The 36-year-old Boisvert was killed in her apartment in Little Burgundy last month.

She was found six days later in a wooded area near Pontiac, a municipality in the Outaouais region in western Quebec.

The 30-year-old suspect is believed to be hiding out around the Ottawa area.

A Montreal charitable organization is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to Steele-Morin's arrest.
