Quebec Liberals announce candidate for Outremont riding

Helene David is the sister of Quebec Solidaire's Francoise David

The Quebec Liberal party has announced its candiate for the riding of Outremont.

It's Helene David, vice rector at the university of Montreal and sister of Quebec Solidaire MNA Francoise David.

Leader Phillipe Coullard made the announcement today.

It's widely believed Quebecers will soon go to the polls.

An announcement could come this week.

The Outremont riding is currently held by Couillard, but he plans to run in his home riding of Roberval in a subsequent election.
