20-year-old wanted on 17 warrants finally arrested

Longueuil police have arrested a 20-year-old man in Montreal who had been wanted by seven different police departments on seventeen warrants for more than two years.

The man is alledged to be connected to three robberies that occurred recently in Longueuil.

On December 23, the suspect boarded a taxi to Saint-Lambert and demanded the driver's wallet before fleeing the vehicle.

A few days later on December 29, the suspect entered a Quiznos restaurant on Taschereau boulevard in Brossard. Armed with a pistol, he demanded the contents of the cash drawer before leaving in a taxi.

The latest incident happened on January 23, when he allegedly stole money and a cell phone from two people on the highway.
