West Island traffic to get worse

More traffic headaches to come in the next few weeks for West Islanders.

Beginning Monday, March 10th, construction resumes on westbound highway 40 between St. Charles boulevard in Kirkland and Anciens-Combattants in St. Anne-de-Bellevue.

Transport Quebec says in some instances, the westbound highway will be completely closed. In those cases, westbound traffic will be diverted onto shared eastbound lanes.

Occasionally, there will be complete east-west shutdowns on the 40.
