Hours before the election was even scheduled to be called, the Parti Quebecois has put up dozens of campaign posters near its headquarters on Papineau and René-Levesque.

      The party's slogan:

      Plus Prospère
      Plus Fort
      Plus Indépendent
      Plus Accueillant

That translates to: more prosperous, stronger, more independent and more welcoming.

Marois has invited reporters to an announcement Wednesday morning at 10:00 a.m.

Recent polls suggest the PQ would win a slight majority.

It is almost a certainty that Quebecers will be heading to the polls April 7th.

Volunteers have also been spotted putting up posters for the CAQ.

That looks great for 88 million dollars$$$$$$$ is that the fixed cost ? what about the cost of all the time wasted instead of sitting in the national assembly and fixing all the problems they have created. ??? Here we go again , between Provincial and Federal early election calls or unnecessary election calls we have probaby wasted over 1 billion $$$$$ all to appease the fat EGOS of these politicians!!!!!! what happened to accountability what are we paying a inspector general for when they don't even listen. we Canadians are a glutton for punishment and quebecers even more so!!!! because this 88million$$$$ charade is being done for maybe 5 extra seats so the PQ can try to win a majority so they can punish us some more and pass their stupid laws which the majority do not want... We were living in peace and there were no liguistic situations or racist phobias, and they stirred up a whole pot of trouble, When is this madness going to stop!!!

She lied about this upcoming election even happening, so if anyone still listens to her now, they should expect to hear even more lies. About everything. Forever. Until she is kicked out of office.
