Another leader from the former student crisis is running under the PQ colours in the riding of Groulx.

Martine Desjardins praised the Parti Quebecois' work on behalf of students as she and Pauline Marois smiled in front of the PQ campaign bus.

"The Parti Quebecois put money back in student's pockets by truly improving student aid," says Desjardins. Last year, she openly criticized the party for indexing tuition fees, and even suggested the party would pay come election time.

It was a matter Parti Quebecois leader laughed off. "We have had differences at times, on which we've reconciled some time ago," says Marois.

Traitor

The student group ASSÉ says Desjardins is a PQ pawn.

"I really can't get my head around why Martine would run for the PQ after everything that the PQ has done," says Benjamin Gingras, co-spokesperson for ASSÉ.

He says the party has made cuts to the welfare and education system, is increasing daycare and hydro rates, and indexed tuition fees.

She does not care about her fellow students. All she is after is the chance at that golden federal pension for life. Let her fellow students fend for themselves now.

It boggles my mind how someone behind a group that stormed classrooms in a terrorist like manner, took part in riots, etc during the student "strike" is even allowed to run in an election. What kind of brainless society are we.

Hey pot banging red squares, 1st you were manipulated and betrayed by the PQ and now the ultimate piece de resistence, you are being betrayed by the very leader that led you in the streets of montreal. You were misled and taken for the fools that you are!

Ok, let me get this straight.. the PQ lies, retracts their statements. Lied to the students to obtain votes, and STILL hiked tuitions and now this bimbo is going to sit side this woman in a political career? I mean does something not make sense here?
They are creating a third world country of Quebec and lie their buts off.
Well if this is what Martine wants then clearly she is dumber then I thought.

This is no surprise news. Some students bailed out of
the boycott, when they realise they were not protesting
for the right cause, when they realised they were being
dupped by heads of the students protests and Madam
    Marios.

Let's hope all those student activists, who have been betrayed by the pot-banging, red-squared Pauline and Martine, will exercise their right to vote them out of office.

The PQ promised the students the moon in exchange for their vote in 2012 and were blind-sided when the PQ allowed the tuition hikes to be implemented. Just as offensive is their leader, Martine, who has decided that a nice MNA salary looks pretty good. Her principles and the students she was supposedly fighting for just a couple of years ago, obviously mean nothing to her. Of course she has the company of Leo Bureau-Blouin, who also didn't hesitate to jump at a job with the PQ. The hypocrisy is stunning!

Sorry folks, this "student" is not stupid.

Her fellow "student" was elected last time in Laval des Rapides for the PQ.

Now it's her turn in Ste. Therese. Why not, the majority of the "sheep" (students) will vote for them.

The "wool" is being pulled over their eyes AGAIN!!!

Queen Pauline is a fantastic manipulator.

Unfortunately, she and her disciples are destroying la belle province.

How can she look her fellow students in the face, with her snout now firmly in the trough? What a disgrace.
