Gatineau man wanted in Tricia Boisvert murder case arrested

Philippe Steele-Morin, the prime suspect in the murder of Montrealer Tricia Boisvert, is in police custody after nearly two months on the run.

Montreal police have conformed the 30-year-old was arrested Monday by police in Ottawa.

Steele-Morin, a Gatineau resident, was wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for the murder of Boisvert, a 36-year-old who vanished from her Little Burgundy apartment on the evening of Jan. 17.

She was found dead on Jan. 23 in a wooded area in the village of Quyon, across the river from Ottawa. Police believe she was killed at her Notre-Dame St. apartment before her body was driven back to the Outaouais region.
