Late winter storm wallops Southern Quebec

A major snowstorm sweeping across Southern Quebec has led to many flight delays and cancellations at Trudeau International Airport.

The storm, which is also bringing high wind, is expected to dump up to 25-centimetres of snow in the Montreal area but closer to 45 centimetres in the Eastern Townships.

The City of Montreal and Transport Quebec say crews are clearing the road network, snow removal will begin after the storm wraps up sometime tomorrow.
