Residents at the far-eastern end of NDG will once again have to deal with road repairs for the next few months.
Beginning on March 24, traffic on Sherbrooke street east of Decarie Blvd. will be perturbed for approximate three months, while work takes place on the underground pipe network — part of a larger project which had closed sections of Northcliffe Ave. and de Maisonneuve Blvd. last summer and fall.
The work will force traffic down to one lane in each direction on Sherbrooke St. W. between Northcliffe and Grey Aves. while the work goes on.
The work was supposed to begin on March 17, but was put off for a week because forecasts this week had called for a snowfall.
