A member of the Parti Quebecois campaign team has publicly solicited ammunition against Philippe Couillard on twitter,
Yves Chartrand, who was a political attaché for Minister Pierre Duchesne, used the public forum on twitter five days ago to write to the author of an up-coming book on Arthur Porter.
"I'm curious to know what you say about Couillard in your book. Cause here, we are in a general election," Chartrand writes to Jeff Todd in his search for information, mentioning "big pub (publicity) for your book."
The next day, the PQ insider writes again to ask whether the two can talk privately.
Chartrand also asks during the twitter thread whether the book will be published this fall, rather than this spring, due to "political interference."
On Tuesday, Le Devoir newspaper revealed that Porter had founded a consulting firm with Couillard without proper authorization, that never operated.
