Habs' Prust out for the rest of the regular season

The Canadiens will be without the services of winger Brandon Prust for the rest of the regular season.

Coach Michel Therrien says Prust aggravated an upper body injury which caused him to miss seven games following the end of the Olympic break.

Prust appeared to injure his left shoulder during the first period of Tuesday's game against the Avalanche at the Bell Centre. He left the game in the first, only to return in the third and score a goal.

He downplayed the injury after the Avalanche game, but didn't take part in Thursday night's game against the Blue Jackets.

Therrien is not ruling out a return to action for Prust for the playoffs.
