Kirkland brand chicken recall

A well-known brand of chicken strips is being recalled because of possible Listeria contamination.

The recall covers Kirkland Signature brand Grilled Chicken Breast Strips sold in double packs of 500g each with best before dates between April 13 and April 26.

The UPC code is 0 96619 70787 4.

The packs were sold in Quebec, Ontario, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador.

Canada's Food Inspection Agency says no illnesses have been linked to consumption of the chicken strips.
