Liberals have 13-point lead over PQ: poll

A Forum Research poll is giving more weight to the inroads made by the Quebec Liberal party.

The party now has a 13 point advantage to the Parti Quebecois, according to the poll.

Forum surveyed 1650 Quebecers on March 19th, and said 45 per cent plan to vote for the Liberals, 32 per cent for the Parti Quebecois, 13 per cent for the CAQ and seven per cent for Quebec Solidaire.

The figures are in line with other polls showing growing Liberal support.

Some Quebec firms give less weight to Forum Research because the Liberal vote has been stronger with the group.

Forum predicted the Liberals would win 78 of the 125 seats in the National Assembly. The PQ would be elected in 43 ridings, and 2 for both the CAQ and Quebec Solidaire.
