You're not crazy: this has been a long cold winter.
But long-suffering Montrealers will have to suffer just a little bit longer - it won't feel like spring until the first week of April.
Environment Canada meteorologist Andre Cantin says this has been one of the colders winters Montreal has seen in over a decade
"If we look at the mean temperature for the southern part of the province, we see that we've had between 1.5 and two degrees below normal," he says.
As for March, it's been particularly cruel.
Cantin says we have to go back 30 years for a winter that's been comparably cold, with temperatures around four-and-a-half degress below normal.
Temperatures will return to more or less normal by early April, with an average of six to eight degrees as a daytime high.
