Start of major Turcot work delayed one week

Some major work on the Turcot Interchange will begin a week later than originally scheduled.

A couple of key access ramps were due to be closed on March 24, and stay closed until June, but the transport department has decided to postpone the beginning of the work for a week because of the weather.

The work is now slated to begin on March 31 — weather permitting.

The ramp leading from highway 15 north to the eastbound Ville-Marie expressway is due to be closed, as will the ramp leading from the 15 north to the 20 west.
