Impact fans get ready.

The team confirmed today that despite the snowfall, the home opener against the Seatle Sounders will take place Sunday afternoon at 4:00 p.m.

The match was original scheduled for today but after a forecast of 15 centimetres of snow the game was postponed on Friday. Due to the instability of the dome not event can be held at the Olympic Stadium if there is more than three centimetres of snow in the forecast. The decision on whether to go ahead with a match is made 24 hours in advance.

The Impact play their first three games at the Big O, hosting the New York Red Bulls April 5th and the Chicago Fire April 12th.

The Toronto Blue Jays also visit Montreal next week for two pre-season baseball games next week.
