Pauline Marois won't disclose personal finances

PQ leader Pauline Marois says she won't disclose her latest income tax return or financial holdings as Quebec Liberal Leader Philippe Couilard has suggested.

At a campaign stop in north shore Blainville, Marois said she's already done so - back in 2012 during the provincial election.

She said she already handed in her tax return and details of her financial assets, along with those of her businessman husband Claude Blanchet, adding that nothing has changed since then and the premier's salary is common knowledge.

She added that the information is in the hands of the government's new ethics commissioner and that is good enough for her.

Marois said that Couillard, by making such a demand, is putting into question the integrity of the ethics commissioner.

She also accused Couillard of creating another diversion because he has nothing of substance to offer Quebec voters.

Hey Pauline, Couillard is not putting into question the integrity of the ethics commissioner, he's questioning your integrity, ethics, transperancy, and lack of good judgement.

Our illustrious premiere is once again being economical with the truth. Yes we all know what her tax payer funded salary is. We are talking about her family wealth. Her husbands dealings. You know, the stuff she had to avoid testifying about at a parliamentray commission by calling the election. The FTQ and favorable financing terms for his company that presumably also supports Mme Marois in the lifestyle to which she has become accustomed. A social worker Cinderella that ended up living in a Chateau.

Mme Marois' accusations of others creating diversions and engineering fear campaigns are ludicrous to all but her supporters ; and predictable. We can expect that next time she passes gas, she'll accuse Couillard and David of fouling the air for all Quebecers.

Where there is smoke there is fire. Put up or shut up Queen Pauline, you keep hammering at Coulliard about his affiliations with Porter and so on, now its your turn, show us the numbers.
