Reports are suggesting Bernard Gauthier, an FTQ-Construction operative in the North Shore region who became a star witness last month at the Charbonneau Commission, was arrested yesterday in Sept-Iles.
He apparently failed to respect a court order that he stay away from a worker belonging to the CSN-Construction union, in connection with an intimidation case.
The violation supposedly happened just minutes after the conditions were imposed by a Sept-Iles judge. He's said to have shot an insult at the worker, Harold Richard.
Gauthier pleaded not guilty and was released.
