Liberal leader Philippe Couillard is defending himself after a Radio Canada report revealed he had deposited 600 thousand dollars in an off-shore bank account while he worked in Saudi Arabia in the 1990's.

Couillard says he declared the existence of the account when he returned to Canada and paid all the taxes that were due.

Imagine what Pauline's husband has hiding if he's the purported expert in deal making for the FTQ and do not want to share with the public.

To all those past and current Saudi Arabia expats like Couillard, how can you sleep at night knowing you are tacitly endorsing a country that forbids women to drive, executes gays, tolerates human trafficking and countless other abominations.

It makes it even worse if taxpayers money have been used to finance your education.
