Two Liberal candidates targeted by UPAC

Yves Bolduc

Two former Liberal ministers, who are still running for the party as as candidates, were scheduled to meet with UPAC before the election call.

The Liberal party has confirmed that Marguerite Blais, the former minister for the elderly, now running in Saint-Henri-Sainte-Anne, and former Health ministre Yves Bolduc, running in Jean-Talon, had both been contacted to speak with investigators.

La Presse newspaper says the plans were put on hold when Pauline Marois disolved the National Assembly.

According to the paper, UPAC is carrying out "projet Joug" which also targets the Parti Quebecois, but expecially has its sights set on the Liberals.
