A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for 33-year-old Léonard Faustin Étienne, who is been sought in a murder in Montreal earlier this year, as well as a robbery at a Montreal bar the following night.
Étienne wanted for the murder of Gaetan Gosselin in the city's east end on the evening of Jan. 22.
Four other reputed gang members — Edrick Antoine, Olivier Guay, Standley Minuty and Kevin Tate — were arrested that evening in connection with the killing.
Étienne is also suspected of being one of six men who robbed an Italian café on Beaubien St. E. the following night.
The group got away with about $10,000 before fleeing in a blue or black Audi and a white vehicle.
Again, Étienne is the only one who got away. The others, Bernardin Polynice, Jean-Luc Sanon, Ghandi Estime, Danny Francis and Jules Marie Beaucicault were arrested.
Étienne is 6'1" and weighs about 170 pounds. Anybody with knowledge of his whereabouts is asked to call 9-1-1.
