Two teens arrested in Laval for phoning in bomb threat to high school

Third bomb threat against a school in as many days in Laval

A 15-year-old girl and 13-year-old boy are in big trouble after the girl apparently phoned in a bomb threat to their Laval high school with the boy's cell phone.

It's the third bomb threat against a school in as many days — but it's the first one to produce arrests.

Franco di Genova with Laval police says they managed to track the 9-1-1 call, and then headed out to the Poly-Jeunesse high school, and zeroed in on a group of six kids.

"It came from a cellular phone" di Genova says. "and the approximate location was maybe a block away from the school...where they found a group of six young students who went to the school between 13 and 15 years of age."

The school carried on with business as usual Wednesday.

No arrests were made in the other two bomb scare cases, but di Genova says their detectives are on the case.

"It's a question of time. We'll find you," he says.
