Four people face drug charges after overnight arrests in Cote des Neiges

Police have launched an investigation following drug-related arrests in Cote des Neiges.

Four people were apprehended overnight after police stopped a suspicious car at Jean-Talon and Mountain Sights.

Authorities say two of them ran away, but were later caught thanks to the canine unit and witnesses.

"Those four people were transferred to a detention center where they met with investigators and they will face charges in drug possession and possession of a firearm", said police spokesman Jean-Pierre Brabant on Saturday.

The four suspects are aged 26 to 35.

Police subsequently discovered a grow op at Jean Talon and Victoria, but it's not clear if they grow op has any connection to the suspects.
