WATCH: Ginette Reno will sing anthem before Game 4 tonight

Needed, and got, the okay from her doctor

It's official: Ginette Reno will sing the anthem at the Bell Centre on Tuesday evening before the start of what could be the series-clinching game between the Canadiens and the Tampa Bay Lightning.

She made the announcement on her Facebook page Tuesday afternoon after a visit with her cardiologist.

She sang a stirring version of the anthem before Game 3 on Sunday night, and had not even taken her seat when Rene Bourque scored the game's first goal, after only 11 seconds had elapsed.

On Jan. 29, the well-known Quebec superstar suffered a heart attack in Florida, and then underwent emergency bypass surgery.

Watching her sing the anthem and hearing the entire crowd joining in warmed my heart before the last game. I cannot remember the last time a Bell Center crowd seemed so proud to sing along with the CANADIAN National Anthem. Thank you Mme. Reno for bringing everyone together in song!!! I can't wait for tonight's game to hear you once again!
