Jean Francois Lisee disappointed Liberals didn't name Minister Responsible for Anglos to cabinet

PQ MNA Jean Francois Lisee has weighed in on Premier Philippe Couillard's cabinet choices.

The former Minister Responsible for Anglophones say he's disappointed the Premier didn't follow the PQ's precedent and appoint a minister to take care of Anglo issues.

"You know, there are always some irritants with this school and that file and information that was not given to the right person. Knowing that there's a minister responsible and its staff are calling in to the machine, makes things easier, faster." Lisee told CJAD's Dan Delmar on the Exchange Wednesday night.

Lisee suggests the Liberal government is ignoring the English minority.

When will this misconception of and miscommunication about Lisee's status ever end?

Lisee was never "Minister Responsible for Anglophones" !!!

He was only responsible for RELATIONS with the Anglophone community.

Anglophones, and no-one else, are responsible for THEMSELVES.

Why does CJAD keep repeating this same mistake all the time?

What the Anglo community now requires from this pathetic little man is his silence.

That's rich, Lisee worried about anglophone rights. So happy these anglo haters are out of office.

Mr. Lisee's disappointment is a clear indication that he is out of touch with reality.

What exactly did Mr Lisee bring to the table while he was in power? Confusion? Token gestures? More resentment from all the non francophone communities? or all of the above?

We now have a government that is not afraid of the English language. This post was only created to deal with the problems created by the anti-English racist PQ government. Now that they are gone hopefully everyone should be treated equally.

You know lisee, you are and were a detriment to Anglophones. It's great not having to see marois anymore, too bad we have to see you.

    M. Lisee, don't worry about the Anglos. They're better off now than they were with you & your dark, bleak, divisive party in power. Seriously, what is wrong with this guy? Must be every psychiatrist's dream to have him as a patient!

Seeing he did such a stand up job for us (or should I say for his ego), I was hoping that Coulliard would ask him to forget about separation, the charter and all the other values of the clan, and join his side. LOL. The only thing that scares me is he actually believes in the garbage that is coming out of his mouth. This guy stands for all things that 75% of the population want nothing to do with, shut up already and sit on the backbenches with the rest of the divisive racists and wait your turn in 4 years at which time maybe you will understand the province wants to go forward and not 40 years backwards.

@Joe Joe, he's narcissistic. Typical PQ member- never wrong, always somebody else's fault. Have you watched them since election? Every one of them said it was never their fault that they lost. Great news for Quebec though. Because they think they're never wrong, they'll never learn from them. Loser party.

    M. Lisee, the new government doesn't require a minister for relations with the anglophone community, because it actually has anglophone's in cabinet.

@James Hanna And has taken the anglo vote for granted....

I'm sorry, but he just sounds like a bit of a cry-baby to me. He's lost his post and now he's sulking. It was an absolutely ridiculous position to create anyway, it just marginalized anglophones in an attempt to put us in our place, a condescending move on their part, trying to make us believe that they had our backs. What a joke, even he can't come up with anything substantial that he ever did for the Anglophone community. We are all a part of this province, Mr. Lisee, unless you think that we need "protection" from the big bad French community?

Lisee was the PQ smoke screen to try and convince the anglos that it was a good thing to vote for the PQ. We didn't listen to him then and we surely won't listen to him now. These seperatists are sore loosers and will never admit defeat . They still don't get it that there seperation platform doesn't interest Quebecers . Mr. lisee should disappear like Marois, and take Drainville along with him.
