Ginette Reno will once again be on the ice to sing the national anthem for the first two home games of the series against the Boston Bruins.
She will appear at the Bell Centre for the third and fourth games of the series, on Tuesday, May 6 and Thursday, May 8.
The Quebec singing superstar has become something of a good luck charm for the Canadiens during the Tampa Bay series. She was on the ice for both home games of that series, Games 3 and 4. The Canadiens' Rene Bourque scored 11 seconds into Game 3, even before Reno had taken her seat for the game.
She returned two nights later to sing before Game 4 just hours after a visit with her cardiologist. She underwent emergency heart bypass surgery following a heart attack in January.
Reno turned 68 years old on Monday.
