Some major roadwork taking place over the next few overnights near the approach to the Champlain Bridge, and it will force some closures.
The first of the closures will happen Thursday at 11 p.m., until 5 a.m. Friday. Motorists will be forced off Highway 15 at either Exit 60 (to the Bonaventure Expressway) or the westbound Ville-Marie Expressway from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. Friday.
The northbound lanes will be closed again on Friday night at 11 p.m. through 6 a.m. Saturday — drivers will be forced off either at Exit 58 (to the Bonaventure Expressway) or to the Ville-Marie westbound.
Other closures are expected before the beginning of next week.
The Quebec transport ministry is reconfiguring the lanes toward an overpass which will be completely rebuilt next year.
