WATCH: 69 arrests made in province-wide drug sweep

Police made 69 arrests as it broke up two major drug trafficking operations in the province Wednesday.

They trafficked in marijuana, cocaine and synthetic drugs.

The SQ seized cash, vehicles, weapons, several kilos of cocaine, marijuana and powder used to make synthetic drugs.

They also seized equipment able to manufacture up to 80,000 pills an hour.

In all, 650 officers were involved in 49 raids in 36 municipalities across the province — in Montreal, its north and south shores, and in the Saguenay and Mauricie regions.

    If it were the Mohawks that were implicated in this...there would be tons of comments calling us every name in the book. I didn't realize that non-natives deal drugs. Really? They do bad things? Really?

      @Karakwi:io I agree. Only it is a handful of Mohawks that like to do bad things and ALL Mohawks get the bad name.
      So I guess this means that ALL non-natives are drug dealers? It must be true it was on the news. *; )
