Another cyclist killed in vehicle accident

Another tragedy involving a cyclist and a vehicle. 

A cyclist has been killed in an accident with a car today in the Laurentians today.

Provincial police say it happened this morning in route 344 in Saint Placide near Oka.

A car was travelling westbound and the cyclist was rolling on the shoulder and police say the motorist moved closer to the median to make more room for the cyclist, but the cyslist also moved over and the car wasn't able to avoid the cyclist.

The victim's gender and age had yet to be revealed.

Police are investigating.

Among other things, a cyslist was killed when she was hit by a truck at a St Denis underpass nearly two weeks ago.
