Chilling video surfaces following deadly drive-by shootings in California

Police are trying to figure out why a man went on a shooting rampage last night, killing six people before he was killed.

There's one piece of evidence authorites are examining.

It's a Youtube video featuring a young man, sitting in a car, claiming to be a college student, identifying himself as Elliot Rodgers, who talks about getting "revenge against humanity".

The video is titled "Elliot Rodgers retribution".

He also talks about lonleliness, rejection, unfulfilled desires, saying "you girls have never been atrracted to me".

At least seven people were killed, seven more wounded in a drive-by shooting rampage in Santa Barbara, California.

Investigators say they believe the gunman driving a black B-M-W acted alone last night, opening fire are several sites around town, resulting in nine crime scenes.

Santa Barbara County Sheriff Bill Brown says the gunman was among those killed.

Brown says the suspect exchanged gunfire with deputies and then drove off and crashed into a parked car.

The suspect was found inside the B-M-W dead from a gunshot wound to the head.

Brown says it's not yet known if the gunman was shot by police or if the wound was self-inflicted.

A semi-automatic handgun was recovered.

There's no word yet on a possible motive for the deadly rampage.
