Price back for Game 5? Not happening, coach says

Habs coach Michel Therrien says Carey Price will not be coming back for the Rangers series, even if the Habs manage to keep the series going to a Game 7.

Therrien told the media not to read anything into the fact that Price was on skates at the practice rink in Brossard Tuesday for a second straight day — this time, in full goalie equipment.

He took a few shots and lightly tested his injured knee for about 20 minutes in the presence of goalie coach Stéphane Waite and therapist Graham Rynbend.

Therrien was emphatic about Price not coming back for the Rangers series, and refused to answer questions from reporters on whether Price's recovery was ahead of schedule.

"Before we think of the next series, we have a huge game to win tonight," Therrien says.
