Eugenie Bouchard advances to semis; faces Sharapova

Another big day for Westmount's Eugenie Bouchard at the French Open.

The 20-year-old has advanced to the semi-finals by beating Spain's Carla Suarez Navarro in three sets.

Bouchard, the 18th seed, came from behind twice to pull out the win against the 14th seeded Navarro.

Bouchard won the first set 7-6 after trailing 5-2 at one point.

She lost the second set 6-2, and trailed 4-1 in the third and deciding set before winning 7-5.

She will now face her childhood idol, Maria Sharapova, in the semis.
