National Bank's interac and credit card network crashes temporarily

It's not clear what triggered the crash of the National Bank's the interac and credit card network late Thursday.

At first, a number of a number of clients were unable to successfully execute such transactions.

There's word now that service has been slowly returning to normal.

Technicians were immediately dispatched to work on the problem.

The bank has released a statement on Twitter saying it thanked clients for their understanding and that service was coming back gradually.
