A bail hearing will be held next month for the man charged in the 2012 election-night shooting.

Richard Henry Bain's lawyer says his client will be among the witnesses who are expected to testify.

Bain is charged with first-degree murder and attempted murder after an attack at the Metropolis club — as Pauline Marois celebrated the PQ election victory.

Lighting technician Denis Blanchette was shot to death and his colleague David Courage was wounded as they stood near a doorway to the downtown Metropolis nightclub where Marois was giving her speech.

The judge today set aside two-and-a-half days for the hearing, starting July 26.

Is there any doubt that he's the murderer? A wasted two and a half days of this idiot mocking the judicial system and we let him do it. Is the judge more stupid than Bain?

It's kind of funny/sad that his trail hasn't started yet. He's more or less been in jail doing time and a half longer than the PQ were in power.
