Heavy rain causes minor flooding in Île Bizard overnight

Paquin Street, Île Bizard

A sudden downpour overnight caused pockets of flooding across the island.

The fire department says half a dozen homes on Paquin Street in Ile Bizard were damaged, with six feet of water in some basement.

Minor flooding also occured on Normand Street in the Cartierville district.
