Raids on the South Shore

Close to 100 Longueuil police officers are conducting house search warrants for seven people in St-Hubert and Brossard this morning.

The police department says the suspects between the ages of 19 and 43 are involved in organize crime and trafficking of marijuana and cocaine.

"This investigation started in March this year and is targeting a well established crime organization, whose activities were primarily conducted in Longueuil and are primarily concerning drug trafficking," constable Jean-Pierre Voutsinos said.
