Chester the Cat is finally home in B.C.

A Scottish fold cat that disappeared from Trudeau airport last month has finally met his owner for the first time.

Chester the Cat was purchased by a B.C. woman, Amanda Stewart, from a Montreal breeder — but on May 21, before he was to board an Air Canada flight from Trudeau airport to Vancouver, he somehow escaped his cage and got lost.

He was finally spotted about a month later at the airport — much to Stewart's relief.

He finally boarded his flight to Vancouver on Friday morning, after he was checked out by a vet.

Hours later, a beaming Stewart posted a photo of herself and Chester on Facebook.
