Plateau shooting victim finds police to say he's been shot

Some Montreal police officers were in for a shock this morning when around 1 a.m. a man approached officers on patrolto let them know he'd been shot.

"Police officers were patroling on the corner of Park [Ave.] and Pins Ave. when a man of 35 years old came to police officers and said he was hit with at least one shot to the upper body," explained police spokesperson Danny Richer.

The man was transported to hospital where police do fear for his life.

No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting.
