Man stabbed in Pointe Saint-Charles

A 26-year-old man is in hospital after being stabbed in Point Saint-Charles this afternoon.

Montreal Police spokesperson François Collard said police responded to a call at around 3:30 P.M. about an incident at an apartment at the corner of Wellington and de la Sucrerie Sts.

Inside officers found the victim with stab wounds to the upper body. He was taken to hospital and according to Collard he is in stable condition.

The victim is not known to police.

No arrests have been made and police have no suspects so far.

Investigators were on scene talking to witnesses and gathering information.
