UPDATE: Laval boil water advisory lifted

If you live in Laval, you no longer need to boil your water.

The city has lifted the boil water advisory it put in place Tuesday, after a drop in pressure at the Chomedey filtration plant.

Laval is, however, asking that residents limit the use of water for outdoor activities.

Officials say analysis of water samples it took Tuesday are compliant.

9 pm, I just called the city, as there is nothing on their web site...As a PREVENTIVE mesure, they are asking to boil water for one minute, according to this guy named Luc. So basically, 2 and a half hour after your broadcast, they had just been made aware that there might be an issue - yet nothing on thier site...Our tax dollars at work !
